Affiliate program terms

Your commission is a percentage of what the client ACTUALLY PAID, after their discount — never of list price. Credit pays 20%. Cash pays 15%.

You can switch between credit and cash any time from your dashboard. The change applies going forward: what you've already earned keeps the form and the rate it was earned under.

A free booking, or one fully covered by a code, earns nothing — no money came in.

A commission appears on your dashboard as soon as someone books and pays with your link, marked pending. It's released after the session has happened.

That wait exists for exactly one reason: a booking can be cancelled or refunded, and I don't want to pay a commission I'd then have to ask you to give back.

Credit is spendable the moment it's released. Cash is transferred once your released balance clears $50; below that it accumulates.

When someone opens your link we keep a marker in their browser for 90 days. If they book within that window it counts for you, even if they arrive by another route.

If they enter a different affiliate's code at checkout, the commission goes to whoever's code was used. The code beats the browser marker.

Attribution depends on browser technology that people can clear or block. I do what's reasonable to make it work; I can't guarantee it catches every referral.

Credit is a real balance, not a coupon: if a session costs less than you hold, the rest stays for next time.

It's for Sovran sessions, it isn't transferable, and it doesn't convert to cash. It doesn't expire while the program exists.

None of this is bureaucracy — each point is here because it would destroy the trust a recommendation runs on:

I can void a commission if the booking is refunded or cancelled, if the client doesn't show, or if the referral broke any of the points above.

If I void something already released as credit, it comes off your balance — never below zero. If you've already spent it, that spend is yours and it stays spent.

If I void something of yours, I tell you why. It isn't a silent process.

You can leave whenever you want: stop using the link, or email me and I'll deactivate it.

I can pause or close an affiliate account at any time, and close the program with notice. If that happens, anything already released is paid or honoured as credit. Anything pending is settled by the rules above.

What you earn is yours, and declaring it is yours too. I don't withhold tax or issue tax certificates; if your country needs something from my side, tell me and we'll see what can be done.

I keep your name, email, payout preference and — only if you choose cash — where to send it. For clicks I keep a count against a hashed identifier that rotates every day: never an IP address.

Of the people you refer you see an initial, a date and an amount. Never their name or their email. You are not buying a contact list.

If rates or rules change, it's updated here and the date above is adjusted. Changes don't apply retroactively to commissions already earned.

These terms are governed by the laws of Costa Rica, where Sovran operates.
